Mr. Mani Dhoj Joshi

Chairman

Mani Dhoj JoshiMr. Mani Dhoj Joshi is a graduate of Commerce from Tribhuvan University. He started his carrier as a graphic artist in 1976. He worked as a Production and Art Director of Nepal Traveller Publication Pvt. Ltd. from 1978 to 1998, which published various travel Magazines. He was a co-partner of MD Publishing Company from 1998 to 2004.Mr. Joshi was a founder partner of a leading advertising agency – Mediaman Pvt. Ltd. Later in the year1998, he played a key role in establishing Thompson Nepal, the first joint venture advertising agency with J Walter Thompson worldwide. He is the Vice-Chairman of this company. Mr. Joshi is a Managing Director of Digital Colour Scan Pvt. Ltd, a personalized printing house. He is also a Managing Director of AviAawash Pvt. Ltd, a real estate company. He is the Director of Gorkha Herbal Farm Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Joshi is also a social worker and a very active Rotarian. He joined Rotary in 1998 and has served in various posts of the Rotary District. Presently he is the Rotary International Program Coordinator. Mr. Joshi is also involved in the following social organizations: Board Member of Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital, Life Member of Nepal Britain Society, Member of USA Chamber of Commerce. 

 

 

Mr. Ram Hari Subedi

Director

Ram Hari SubediRam Hari Subedi is trained as a pharmacist and later studied business administration. He has made a career in the international trade in medicinal and aromatic plants and non-timber forest products. For the past eleven years, Mr. Subedi was affiliated with ANSAB, the Asia Network for Sustainable Agriculture and Bioresources (ANSAB), Kathmandu, Nepal. ANSAB is an international NGO promoting enterprise-oriented solutions for natural resources conservation. ANSAB works primarily in south and southeast Asia. Through ANSAB, Mr. Subedi has undertaken consulting contracts in Afghanistan and elsewhere. He had been a Director of Operations for 4 years in the BDS-MaPS project, a USD 3.2 million, USAID-funded project. The project aimed to double incomes in rural, conflict-prone areas of Nepal using a BDS (Business Development Service) approach and value chain models. Currently, Mr. Subedi is Managing Director in the Gorkha Exim Pvt. Limited. He is also a director of Gorkha Organic Herbal Farm Pvt. Limited. He is also an advisor of the Nepal Herbs and Herbal Products Association. 

 

 

 

Dr. Khem Raj Bhattarai

Director

Khem Raj BhattaraiDr. Khem Raj Bhattarai holds M. Phil in Ecology, and a Ph. D. in Biodiversity from the University of Bergen, Norway. He has experience in research, conservation, and management for more than 25 years. He received his M.Sc. degree in Botany in 1991 from Tribhuvan University.  He started his career in 1992 as a Botanist/Scientist in the National Herbarium and Plant Laboratories, under the Ministry of Forests. From 2013-2015 he served as a Joint Secretary to the Ministry of Forests, Government of Nepal. He resigned from the post of Joint Secretary in 2015 and worked in Sheridan College, Canada from 2016-2017. During his stay in Canada, he completed courses on Canadian workplace culture, project management. His research articles are published in the form of books, book chapters, and journals. He has served as a board of directors from 2068 to 2072 BS in the Government-owned Herbs Production and Processing Company Ltd. Currently, He is the Chairman of Gorkha Organic Herbal Farm Pvt Ltd. He has traveled around 40 countries in the world in connection with the study, seminars, visits, and vacations. Dr. Bhattarai has received a BD Pandey Award from the Association of Plant Physiologists of SAARC countries. 



Manoj Prasad Dhital

Manoj Prasad Dhital has extensive experience working with several large-scale organisations with a wide range of stakeholders. He was the Chairman of Drabya Shah Multiple College situated in Gorkha and is also a lifetime member at Medini School, Rupandehi. In the past, he has also worked as a business adviser. By providing strategic business insights, he has helped shape the success of multiple companies. He has over 15 years of experience in leadership and project management as he worked for Japanese Agriculture Inservice Training Institute (JAITI), a non-profit organisation in Nepal. With a great passion for improving the lives of others and helping those in need, he is actively involved in social work and charitable activities. He is the Director of Punyaarjan Foundation and a member of the Rotary Club.
