Introduction:

Triphala (fruit), Mandoor Bhasma, Picrorhiza kurroa (Rhizome), Berberis aristata (Bark), Phyllanthus nirruri (Fruit), Zingiber officinalis (Rhizome), Shilajit (Purified), A. panniculta, Eclipta alba

M.V. Liv is an ayurvedic recipe containing herbo-mineral ingredients to correct liver dysfunctions and to correct metabolic disorders. It is commonly used in jaundice, anaemia, & other hepato-biliary disorders .

Action: Phyllanthus amarus and Andrographis paniculata are both antiviral and hepatoprotective. Picrorhiza scrophulariiflora has colagougic action. Piper spp. are digestive and stomachic. Due to these properties, this preparation acts as hepatoprotective and regenerating agent.

Indication: Hepatitis, hepatomegaly, cirrhosis of the liver, cholecystitis, anaemia and chronic constipation.

Adverse Effect: None.

Contra Indication: None.

Doses: Adult : 2 tablets three times a day.  Children: 1 tablet three times a day.  To be taken orally with water on empty stomach.
Precaution : Avoid fatty, oily, fried, sour and hot foods.
