Introduction -:

Shankhapushpi Syrup is an excellent Ayurvedic herbal recipe to improve memory & correct central nervous system disorders. It is commonly used in treating weak memory, forgetfulness, sleeplessness, mental distress etc.

Composition -:

Convolvulus pluricaulis       -                      1 gm

Centella asiatica          -              400 mg

Roots of Withania somnifera -             150 mg

Fruits of Phyllanthus emblica -       100 mg

Rhizomes of Acorus calamus -               100 mg

Roots of Glycyrrhiza glabra -                       50 mg

Flavoured sugar syrup & excipients                          Q.S.


Therapeutic Actions -:

Shankhapushi Syrup improves memory, sleep, mental functions & corrects various functional disorders of the brain & total central nervous system.

Indications -:

It is indicated in loss of memory, forgetfulness, sleeplessness, mental distress etc. and is also very beneficial for regular use to those persons having much of mental work.

Adverse effects & Contra indications -: None.

Dosage -:

Adult: 2-3 teaspoonfull twice a day to be taken orally; Children: 1-2 teaspoonfull twice a day or as directed by the physician. It can be taken for months or long time.
